front sway bar with air bag suspension

I am working on a 1962 Truck with a 76 front crossmember/control arms and was wondering if I will be able to run a sway bar with the air bag suspension? My initial thought says no because I will not be able to get the suspension travel out of it I need for it to sit on the ground. I already am going to have to notch the frame to make the steering linkage work.....Does anybody have any thoughts and/or experience with this.....I will post some pics as soon as I have some...thanks in advance

Re: front sway bar with air bag suspension

I don't see why not, but it may involve messing w/ the frame as you mentioned, I'd like to know the answer myself now LOL

Typically you can run the front sway bar, with bags. They make different lengths of endlink, so can purchase a short set . Most guys remove the sway bars...that is mostly to get the "side 2 side" action. But I into NOT removing the sway bar. Frame mod may have to be performed. I would just check your clearances with your bags deflated and go from there. My 63 doesn't have a bar, so not sure what it looks like.

What brand/size bag you running in the front ?
