I checked out this truck...solid, very little rust...true "barn find". Just needs paint, new trim, and a little TLC. It does have AC and tilt. Is it worth $7500, if not...what do you think it is worth?

$7500 seems high to me. There is one for sale not too far from Shreveport for the same asking price, but in better condition. Either way it still looks like a great truck.

terry b, that is what I offered him....if I don't hear from him by Tues. or Wed., I am going to call and check. I added up about 4K for paint, 2k for interior and exterior trim....and 2k for future engine bay rebuild. I lift him with my business card, and telling him "I might go a little higher than 5K".

Seems a bit high BUT mine looked like that when I had about 7500 in it. I'm now over 10 but getting close to being done.

I think it would be a good deal for you and the seller at 6000.00.. If it wasn 't so far away and I could get it home for a reasonable price, I'd be interested at 6000.

Paint,trim,and interior costs as much as stated,but all that's optional and your personal choice. If all that was new it would be going for more than $7,500.

I would question the 33,000 mile statement. The upholstery wouldn't need to be redone if that were true. Without seeing it or more detailed pics it's hard to tell.

If you're concerned about value....a long bed just won't be worth as much when completed because it's a long bed...

I personally like long beds....but realize that a short bed sierra grande in similar condition would be worth that.....

also consider cc69rat got a swb sierra grande for 2500 in very nice condition....that was a steal but there are deals like that out there....I wouldn't pay more than 3k personally...and only if it was rust free...but i'm cheap and willing to wait for a deal

This truck was on Ebay 2 or 3 times and the original "Buy it Now" was 8500 and it was at 6000 on this last auction with the high bid being 4400. To me this looks like a better truck than the red one you are looking at. Its in Vegas and could be driven home. The sellers phone number is at the bottom of the ad.

Mine had some title issues though .. Asking price was $5k.

Not just 'cause it's mine, but if the title was clear I would have never bought it for $5k. Just at the right place at the right time I guess.

I paid $6500 for mine (70 Sierra Grande Longhorn), but it was a little cleaner than the red one. And it was buckets and big block.
