What did you get done?
I ordered parts for my 77 this week. I bought the flexplate, and the TC lock up kit for my 700r4 conversion that I needed.
While I was at Wally World buying weed-n-feed for my lawn, I bought an air filter my wife's Denali. I got that changed and the lawn feed so I'm good for the day. Beyond that I worked in my yard Saturday trimmimg trees and pulling weeds until the afternoon. I had to be at a volleyball tournament at 3:00 so I finished up my yard work after church today. My daughters team took first at the tournament What did you get done?

I went and picked up my intake at the parts store this afternoon but the retard behind the desk gave me the wrong one so now I have to drive all the way back to exchange this one. But other than that I shoveled Sheep sh** all day sat. I know what your thinkin, It's NOT as much fun as it sounds. Sheep must be the dumbest animals ever.

Helped a friend build an elaborate playhouse/swingset/rockwall he bought from SAMSclub. It took the two of us with airtools 14 hours. Today he helped me drop the 10 bolt out of my 86 and get the 12 bolt ready to install. I tried to salvage the U-bolts for the axles but had to cut them out. I hope to have the new rear in by sat. Then the Gearvendors will follow

I got my daily driver insurance paid this weekend then got the NJ state inspection. I finallyalso got hold of a buddy who is going to swap out the transmission in my 86 for me ( i just dont have the desire to crawl around on the ground and swap a tranny in the nj winter) then i also took a ride to get some more parts for the truck at the boneyard a bedliner rail caps and a custom seat we will see when i actually get all that in . hopefully before long ill even get the corners welded in and the bedside on.

I actually got something done on my Blazer this weekend. I have the old doors off and everything I need pulled off them, entire front end is off and in pieces, and I put the inside hood release parts on the radiator support as well. I started in on the interior as well. I finally bought my Goodmark cowl hood this week, so my fenders and hood are ready to cut in. I plan on having the radiator support and inner fenders done too. During the next week, I plan on getting the engine and trans back out, and cleaning the frame/undercarriage.
On saturday, my buddy Scott came up, and we picked up a 72 Chevy stepside for him. Finally getting him into trucks. 'Bout time, too.

I changed the oil and greased my 86 Diesel. Then I mowed my lawn and put down some weed killer. After that I reclaimed about 50 square feet of driveway by trimming back some juniper bushes. I can't believe they were covering that much concrete! Anyhow, I wanted to get my GTO washed, but it started getting cold so I came inside. Maybe tomorrow...

On Sat, I paid my bill @ Stoked Out. While I was out there, I went w/the guys & looked @ a sweet collection of early station wagons. When we got back to the shop, I helped my buddy get one of his rear wheel tubs fitted correctly (he mini-tubbed his truck to clear some big new shoes).
On Sun I played around w/my 74, wiring the amp/cross-overs up to my speakers & stereo (I'm still not done). 2.5yrs w/no tunes is driving me freakin nutz (short drive though ). I also sold the tailgate from my newly acquired 72 bed assembly (from boardmember Zeus) to another board member. Ken, I should have done yard work but I'm going to pay someone to do the spring clean-up/scalping thing.

Put a new EGR block off plate and gasket on and goofed around with some carb cleaner. Thought about pulling the wheels and hitting them with some polish and a buffer but thats about as far as it went.

Sat mornin drove a friend to the junkyard to return his fenders he got then came home and helped him order new ones plus a rad support and filler panel on my computer. Then looked over my truck for those loose fittings.
Today I wrestled with replacing the gaskets and vaccum modulator but lost half the battle. Spent darn near 1.5-2 hours scraping off the old gasket from the oil pan. Got dark and gotta go in to work tonight at 12:30 so I cleaned up and gonna finish tomorrow.

Cleaned the garage a little bit. Put on my new Clear corner lenses and my new mirror. THINK thats it. Cant think of nothing else.

I traded the ol' 74 for an 89 Chevy extended cab longbox
She needs some TBI work, and will eventually be needing a new 700r4, she slips if you floor it. Body is totally mint though, and its totally loaded! I'll post pictures later

Spent friday night fabricating on a street stock Nova from 8pm to 2:30am. Saturday slept in and sat around most of the day, picking out metal splinters. Then back to the Nova from 8pm to 3am. Sunday went snow tuning with the family. Dropped my Jeep off at a body shop, picked out more splinters. Worked on Nova again, 8:30pm to 10:30pm. Fixed a PC for a 1/2 hr. Should have the Nova totally back together by warmups on the 20th. Nothing like re-engineering an old car, getting it race ready for a different track and breathing in 12 years worth of barn crud. Hopefully it will be all worth it with a track championship.

Went to church in the morning. Today was a real nice sunny day (after what it seemed like weeks with out sun just rain) so i decided to wash the truck and wax it. Vacumed the inside real good and went out for a cruise in town. Met up with some buddies and had a couple of beers.

I took a load of tree branches to the landfill. I washed my truck, and fixed a tail light problem I had. I just enjoyed driving around in my truck, the weather was fantastic! David

Worked my second job all day Saturday. Sunday I worked on Yeller, helped a buddy work on his '59 F100, and watched the Busch race. Since the temps hit 60 degress today, me and my friend actually took out his '59 from winter hibernation and went for a cruise...making me miss driving Yeller all that much more.
Here is what I did to Yeller Sunday. Notched out a 5" section of the bed cross sill to clear the sender on the fuel cell. I then bent up the metal to box in that plus the two 7" sections for the drop shackle clearance. I will have these welded in and ground smooth when the bed is at the body shop. I know 99% of the world will never see the bottom of the bed, but these are the little things I like to do...and enjoy seeing on other peoples rides.

Picked up my truck from the shop after two weeks when it was suppose to be done. Yes I went with the refurbished 350, just did not have the time to do it myself. They put in an 86 block, one peice rear seal so it as easier than first thought. Oh man I'm gonna get a ticket for speeding now, I just love all the extra power.
My sons truck is getting pretty close to being done also. He installed the after market door panels that been talked about on the board (rod doors?) he hasn't been to happy with them since he had to do additional modifications to make them fit properly but now their in and he has the carpet installed and should have the after market seat. Then it will be off to have it emission tested. So hopefully we'll have pics soon. Also after his truck is finished my 86 will go in for a couple of dents and a bright new red paint job. Tom
