newby cam question.

Alright folks I have a 64 c10 with a 350/350 stock rear and 275/45/20 rubbers. So I am having to rebuild the motor I bought that was supposed to be turn key ready, due to a lot or rust in one of thy cylinders. Imagine 30 grit sandpaper on the upper side of the wall. So I am boring the cylinders from .040 to .060. I've already purchased a new eddy performer 600 cfm carb, eddy performer rpm intake, hei distributor, long tube headers, and a stock converter. Since I have it apparent i want to put a mild cam in her belly to wake her up a bit. I know I will have to replace the lifters but I have seen something saying I need to replace the valve springs and some say I need to replace the rockers. Is this a must or just another way to build power. I'm already over budget with this build so if I can do lifters and cam that would be the goal and do the rockers later. This is the cam I am going to use http:// http://www.summitracing.com/...1103/overview/ any thoughts or advice or suggestions.
