In my case it had more to do with space than anything. Small shop had room for bed (although the Hood, Valence, Front Fenders & Doors were actually prepped first) then I swapped out cab/chassis when I picked up the bed.... This also gave me the time to finish mechanical restoration as I went through all of it. (K20 w/Fuel injected 502, 4L80E, NP205, 6" lift and on and on and on....)

Updated the paint to base coat clear coat as well...

I really like your glove box door/camaro emblem idea - nice touch!
