NV4500 shifter knub slop

Video: https://live.staticflickr.com/video/...NWUiLCJ2IjoxfQ

I feel like I'm jumping into this swap a bit too fast, but I also feel like I need to start somewhere. There's a guy within a couple hours of me selling NV4500's. They are all used, and I don't think they have a warranty, and the two I saw in person looked rough.

I made a vary quick video but I don't know if it even shows enough detail to show anything "wrong".

The slop in the shifter knob seemed a lot, but then again these trans were not known for their "modern precise feel"; from what I read they are marginally more modern feeling than an SM465.

He said he had a few other trans available at another location that we could go check out.

Is there anything I should be testing or looking at on an NV4500?
