Converter ?
My th400 was hooked up originally to a 402 I used same conv with a sb 327 could this cause shift problems? IE....Slam 2nd gear? curiuos any input greatfully accepted thanks in advance.

no, but TV cable or pump ressure proboems can cause that, also a misadjusted modulator valve
