bag mouting questions

hey i got my rear bag setup today and was wondering how the bag mounts to the stock location.. the stock location has a one hole design and the actual bag has 3 holes for mounting.. what do i do? i have plates that came with the bag.. and what i was thinking that maybe i offset the bag off the trailing arm to allow for the screws to go into the bag.. if that makes any sence.. but pics of peoples installs would be great.. thanks

ps got this setup from kp components the bags i have for the rear are slam specialties

Re: bag mouting questions

slams give you three holes so they mount in both firestone and airlift patterns. You will stock a bolt through the 1 hole of your trailing arm, into the center hole in the slam bag. If you offset the bag, it will twist the stock trailing arm and twist it.

You can also drill for the other two holes on the trailing arms if you want to. Most people just run one long Grade 8 bolt through the arm (me included). Check out MrShelly's thread in the FAQ for pics of bags in the stock mounting location.
