Automatic or manual tranny
I posted this on Blazer/Burb sub-forum. I wanted to see what you guys thought about it. Might as well do it like I want it since I am doing more than I had originally planned..............

Re: Automatic or manual tranny
I forgot to mention that I am trying to do this swap in my short bed and go hot rod/ rat rod with it. Something to tide me over until I can get some money for a borg warner 10 or Richmond........

Re: Automatic or manual tranny
If your going for a hot rod, just slap a th350 in it, and save up for the nice 5 speed. If it was gonna be a work truck, id say 4 speed all the way. But Id stick with an auto if were you.

Re: Automatic or manual tranny
Thanks for all of the input guys. I am still up in the air with it but, I am leaning more and more towards the conversion. This is just going to be my weekeend play toy for awhile. Does anyone have a schematic on the clutch / brake pedal assembly as well as the linkage in the engine bay? I would like to see how it all goes together to see what pieces I have left to get
