The Story & Build & Rebuild Of MY 99 Silverado

So here is the story,build and the rebuild of my 1999 silverado 1500 3 door ext cab that i bought it new in 99 i like the body style alot because it put me in the mind of the 67-72 body style so this is were it started for me and the 99

i had it about 6 months and i lowerd it with a 4/6 kit and few months later i put the billets in the front

then in 01 it got hit int the door of a paring lot and got fixed then in may of 03 my other half was driving it and she got hit in the back in and knock into a suv what luck if there wasnt no bad luck a person woundnt have and good luck

well the luck of this truck dont get any better cause went i took it to the body shop to get fixed it was parked outside and it came a bad strom it had some big hail in it to was so bad it broke the sky lights out of the body shop and messed the roof hood and top of the bed sides so here are some pics of what it was looking like as there were fixing it they took a lot of pics for me as they done the work

well after the body shop try to fix the roof it didnt take to long to figure out it was toast so now it was going to get a new roof skin put on it and was going to put a roll pan and shave the tailgate handle

also decided to add a cowl hood to replace the stock hood and they were getting it ready for paint as well

and now it had been 5 months seen it got hit in the rear and it was in paint and back at home i was so happy

Sadly its not i got more to come but thank you thou it seems like its going to never end sometimes lol but i ant giving up on it yet

Well a few years later i had my buddy to bring my other half and her mom to the hospital cause she all upset from where her brother got really sick and didnt know if they make it i was at work and she was at home went this happen and i was like 5min away and we live a hour from the hospital that way i asked one of my close friend to bring them this was when gas got hard to fine and to buy and was really high so we he made it there ok but i need to go put some gas in it from him to make it back home ok so we hope in the truck and went to find gas station that had gas we found one so i went to get all the gas the station would let me have my buddy looks at me and say you drive back to the hospital i feel bad it something happing to your truck lets say i wish he never sayed that cause i was driving back and a car in front of me was driving and the rear wheel of it came off hit a on coming suv and my buddy sayed look out it was to late cause it came back in my lane and hit the front of my truck busted the grill lights bumper and hood if it had been a little higher it would have come though the front window on my side wow it was a suprise cause we never seen the wheel till it was to late and on top of it the guy try to run away on 3 wheel my buddy hopped out of the truck and seen were the guy had went and we told the law the guy didnt have any insurance my luck so i fixed the truck back i had to put a stock hood on it and i put a black grill in it and fixed the bumper had the put a unpainted air damm on it here is a pics of the front with the black grill and stock hood

well here it were it at now i have been joking with some of my buddys and calling it the Rustado cause of all the rust that has started show up on it now. Makes people around here love that road grime that they put on the road here went it snows
