came from a running 81 chevy truck with a 250 inline 6. complete with cap, rotor, wires etc. $50.00 plus mail.

is my price too high ? i have no idea what it's worth but since we have to post a price, that's the number i picked. $40.00 plus mail sound any better ???????? it's complete and ran fine, the truck cracked a head so we threw in a complete junkyard motor and it had a distributor in it already.

Will it work in a 292 . if so how much is shipping to 81323, I just got a 69 c-10 that someone put a 292 in , going to use it for a while so, hei might be nice.

i called my local napa store and according to their books, 250 and 292 use the same distributor. shipping would be $11.50 U.P.S.

That thing will fit right into your 292. But the timing curve will be a little different, so it will run a little different. Performace might increase or decrease depending on the year the HEI is, but you will get an increase in milage and effiecy no doubt.
