They certainly seem to be homemade to me, although whoever did it did a pretty good job of it. As a part of it, they also lined the bed with the same steel treadplate, and even went up over the sides with it; kind of like a slide-in liner. IIRC it's all 12 gauge thickness (maybe 14, but I want to say I remember it being 12), and judging from the deep valley pounded into the bottom of the bed near the tailgate, that thickness wasn't excessive at all!

LOL! It does...I'm gonna give her a bath here soon...have a guy from this here forum coming to visit in a few weeks so I'm gonna clean an polish her up good..then get her all dirty again. lol Typical truck.
