Hickey swing away spare install measurements

I know I saw these here before, but my search has come up empty. Can anyone give me the link to the layout for the holes to install a Hickey swing away spare tire carrier? I have one coming and want to make sure I drill the holes in the right place.

thanks in advance,

Keith

I suggest you wait until the carrier shows up before you drill any holes. These things were made by hand in jigs, and may vary from unit to unit. Use the carrier mounts as templates for your holes by holding them up to the body and marking the locations.

Yes, for sure I will. What I can't seem to find is the actual installation pictures and measurements that Hickey provided when these were purchased originally. I remember seeing a post on this site at one time where someone pictured them, but can't find it.

Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.
