It always astounds me that guys will order hard parts from specialty houses rather than pull the part out and take it to a local parts house and match it up.

One thing on parts like clutches and flywheels unless you are positive that nothing has been changed from original you often don't know what someone swapped around in the past and it may have a different flywheel and clutch setup in it than it came with stock.

Oreillys is showing a 10 inch clutch setup for a 57 3600 truck with a 235. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1351&ppt=C0015 Is your disk 10 inch or smaller or larger?

The other thing, did you get the part number you ordered? They may have shipped the wrong clutch.
