Re: Please post pictures of your C10 w/US Mags Rambler rims

FWIW, the 18" version of these has the same issue that the BOSS wheels had. The center doesn't quite fit over the disc brake hub. I had to grind down my hub to make them fit.

Also, the 9.5" wheel fits pretty good up front. It clears fairly well for normal driving, but during hard cornering at full lock, the inner lip rubbed the lower control arms. I simply removed about a 2-3" section of the rolled lip of the lower control arms.

About how much meat did you have to grind off you hub to get the wheels to fit? What's your clearance like on the rear? Wide axle? One more...what's your drop? Looks perfect!

Maybe 1/16". The problem is that the hub on the factory rotors are rough cast and have only been machined at the base of the brake surface. They're actually uneven all around. I'm not sure if this is an issue with replacement rotors, but my truck still had original 72 GM rotors. I just ground it down with a grinder and flap wheel until the wheels fit. The correct way would be to take the rotors to a machine shop and have them turned on a lathe.

Yes, I have a wider 72 axle.

The drop when I installed the wheels was 4.5/6.75. The new suspension system should put me about 5/7 or so.
