Yeah, I am going to attempt fixing my original panels but I am super nervous. I hope and pray I don’t mess it up!

Yes I always recommend repairing your original fenders if at all possible. Even those that a lot of people say are shot are still repairable. You will spend that much time or more, reworking the repro fenders.The repro front fenders have always been crappy. They will never correct the poor quality issues because everyone keeps buying them.
