Re: SBC 350 & TH350 Rebuild Almost Done!
Well, after a week in a A/C shop I have A/C now! Everything from the evaporator coil to the condenser has been replaced. Using a orifice tube to a modern compressor and parallel condenser is in place. I am bummed it will look modern but at least they painted the compressor black for me. Personally I hope the price for this gives me worry free A/C operation. At the very least any A/C shop should be able to work on it in the future (or I hope).
Next up before my brother brings it to me: rebuilt numbers matching QJet Carb (previous owner put a '78 carb on), Fuel sending unit, and Morris 3-point seat belts! Then my parts at my house are pilling up too: LED lights all around outside/inside (including headlights and dash), Tach addon from GMC Paul's, and shorty title column from the board member shortfleet!
