Re: Pole Frame Garage

Looking good, I used 2 bats of R 19 side by side for ceiling. Don't know if it's the most effective. Because we get a lot of wind I used foam blocks to seal the ends at the top of the walls.

Interested in learning more. That’s the way I’m leaning. What type of blocks? I need to block off the eaves but still allow it to vent (I think). I’m not a carpenter or construction guy - electrician by trade.

Re: Pole Frame Garage

Dow...1" blue foam, cut with knife or table saw ( table saw tends to grab...be careful ) filling in between, cut a couple samples and fit......go higher than insulation, but allow air flow over the top from eves...sofit. wedge fit and caulk in place, over top of wall close to outside edge.....2" pink foam might be better on yours with longer pieces

i definately could have saved money on the lights, but I have bought cree lighting before and was very pleased and they have a 5 year warranty. I haven't had any issues yet. I like the narrow footprint - it will fit nicely between small ribs on ceiling.
