Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
Jason, I'm curious to how that glove box door turned out. Did you get all the interior in?

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
Scott, the body guys still have the glove box door, they had primer on it Friday. As far as the interior that will be last on the list, anxious to get the buddy buckets in....

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
I got impatient today and called about my wheels, they said they would try to ship them out today , if not then Monday morning. So "hopefully" when I get back home next Thursday I will have some update pics. (now I'm getting nervous about everything fitting!!)

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
Well, I got my new Coy C57 wheels this evening and apparently they have the same problem as the Boss 338 wheels did. I had to grind on the front hubs to get them to fit proper. I even had to take about a 1/16" off the stub on the axel flange on the rear to get them on. I'm hoping to finish the "prep" work in the morning then I'll take them to get the tires mounted. I've got my fingers crossed and hoping I don't have any rubbing issues because of the tire size. Things just haven't went my way on this whole truck build.

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
I worked on it a couple hours this evening, to aggravated to take pictures!! I ground the hub down a little, but the wheels had a little machine lip left in them so I took a die grinder with a burr bit and took a little bit out of them also. With any luck I'll have some good news pics tomorrow.

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
Sorry to hear about the wheel problems. I'm sure you will get it worked out. I think wheel companies don't realize how many of us older truck guys there are out there. Been there done that on some Boss wheels.

Aw man, what a PITA! If it had to be done I'm sure you've got it handled well. Looking forward to seeing them mounted.

Sorry to hear about another Coys problem Jason but it sounds like you have it figured out. Those wheels will look awesome on your truck and I can't wait to see them.

Thanks Ben, did you sell your truck yet? Thanks Scott. Thanks Keith, good choice on your paint, I parked mine in the yard today for a couple hours and the shiny black looked terrible with everything it shows!!! Thanks Kyle, Lucy sure is looking good.
