I love what you're doing. These 4x4s need to be in the mountains.

Are you changing to 5 lug axles? Those new steelies are 5 lug and K10s are 6 lug.

Yes sir. Facebook Marketplace. Guy bought them for a jeep and put 200 miles on them and saved me about 3-500 bucks.

Funny story they were a little over an hour away. And had wheels with them for a jeep. My brother wanted the wheels for his jeep. I said you go get them for me you can have the wheels. Lol

I love this build! I'm following along. I have a question for you about your wheels. Do you know what they were off of? Also, I would really like to know what the backspacing is on them, and how close they come to hitting the tie rods. Anyways, nice truck. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the build.

They are factory gm steel wheels. Not sure on back spacing.. they are getting harder and harder to find.

Re: the 72 K10 with no name (yet) thread

Got my wheels and tires put on today... unfortunately I left my front caps at home so you don't get a pic until I get them on...

You'll have to settle for this teaser..

I love how it turned out.

Yes, get out there and drive it, she looks great, I have a 'soft grip' steering wheel, but I like the look of the old stock wheel for now.

Re: the 72 K10 with no name (yet) thread

Took my maiden voyage Saturday... about a 4hr round trip.. 200ish miles to the C10 Club Georgia meet. Never missed a beat. Got a very small coolant leak in the heater hose, but no problems whatsoever.

Got home and parked it for the evening. Left Saturday night to run to my parents real quick and had a headlight out.. no biggie.. pulled out of my driveway and made it about 5 seconds and the truck died and would not start back..

Coil wire came unplugged. Lol its good now!
