When I fired up my ZZ4 a few years ago it was leaking at rear seal too. Found out I didn't have my breather installed and forgot to take the plugs out of the valve covers. Just a thought for you to check. I guess I was leaking from main seal because the breather wasn't installed and pressure was making rear main leak.

That's a great looking set-up!

Let's see some more crate engine swaps.

Since it popped back up I will add the '72 Dually. 350 crate engine with an NV4500 manual 5 speed overdrive. Great combo....

Awesome!!! I'm looking to do the same to my ZZ4. What stall converter did you run?

Last question: Are your wheels 20's?

Thank you!

Re: What crate motor do you have?

Currently running a ZZ4 (about 15,000kms on it) and a TH400 (about 6,000kms on it) would like to sell both of them and building up a 4 bolt main 400 SBC and match it with a purpose built 700r4. But can't do that till I sell my ZZ4 TH400 combo.

Re: What crate motor do you have?

Wrong vehicle, but it's what I'm working on today, and it's a LS3 eRod crate motor. I've got a Concept One accessory drive which is not cheap ($2500) but keeps everything low. Same price more or less with AC, but I don't have AC, so it's a lot of money for alternator, water pump, power steering, and an SFI balancer. But it's nice stuff!
