Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!

Between Friday and Saturday, we got maybe 6-8 inches of rain.

I hate having to cross that at night. Delivering pizzas out in the country where they had no power, and not having crossed flooded roads before made the learning part interesting. Went back today to see just how deep it was. I guesstimate about 6 or so inches, it felt like my bumper was in the water though with how hard the truck was pushing threw.

Though, I need to get some die-electric grease and grease the plug boots and such, they don't like being wet.

Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!

Thought you guys might want to check out my high scool ride. It was a 70' with all 72' suspension parts and a frame off restoration, all done by my dad and me. I'm 30 now but still think I had a pretty cool truck in high school. It was the fastest in the parking lot. lol

we have a local bridge that floods a lot but its not bad in my truck 'cause mine's stock ride height. 6 inches deep isn't bad, my dad has gone across it when its been about 15-16 inches deep in his F-350, but I wouldn't take my truck across it when its that deep.
even if you've done it before, its never fun crossing a flooded bridge
