Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"

Ok- progress is coming. CAM is ordered and Gauges are ordered. Next up is the wiring, installing the bed and the hidden doors to house the AccuAir setup along with the batteries. This will all be boxed in and protected from the elements as this will be daily driver worthy.

And then for my favorite part the Interior.

Hope you all have a great 4th~~

Nice truck!!!
Its got a 4l60E (Auto trans) so the tach doesn't need to be main focus. But it wouldnt have been right to leave it out haha. Thanks

Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"

so currently the truck is at Airth Defined here in Las Vegas, Zack is the man and he is doing a great job bustin out some killr work. I wanted to build this box and flush it into the bed floor to keep the battery & AccuAir out of the elements (keeping with the theme of a Daily Driver worthy truck) Will also be used to store some tools with misc. compartments.

Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"

Zack is doing a killr job on the box. Most people throw the compressors and tank under the bed and forget about it. But with my last truck (avalanche bagged on 27"s) I daily drove it for 6 years and would have issues with rain, burning up compressors, or blowing fuses. Since im building this truck to last I wanted to opt for this route. So yes I fully understand this is overkill

Secondly after spending the $$ on Accuair this give me a way to show it off without making people crawl under the truck

Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"

What a great weekend. All of you guys know whats its like to dream up a project and look forward to the day you get to turn it over for the first time.

Tunner came over Saturday night and had it fired up on Sunday morning This thing is LOUD Current package is a 2007 LY5 5.3 with CAM Headers, no CATS and flowmaster 10's.Once i get her running i will take it down there for the full on chassis dyno #'s.

Sticking with the theme of get it running and daily driver- i laid down a very expensive coat of Rustoleom. But hey what the heck it look killr.

Start-up Video coming next

Who is your tuner and where is the shop/dyno? I'll probably need to tune my LQ9 in the Blazer once its running... Can the dyno handle 35" Toyo MTs??
