Here are a few I have collected. These are both Janesville. The orange was a shortbed CST & the blue a longbed.

From post 2 of this thread: 1Z624290 = 1/27/71 (Build Sheet)

This confirms that my 71: 1Z622515 = TBD is a Jan 71 build

I'm getting the 50th birthday party favors lined up for 3rd week of Jan 2021.

Re: The build date project

I'm curious if the specific build date on the bs always ends up in the same month as the blue door sticker. i.e. how many days does it take to get down the line? The bs is done up pre-assembly as it is the guide for the line, along with grease pencil marks, etc. I don't know how far down the line the blue door tag is installed (or printed), but it's after the doors are on of course, which could be a ways down the line. In other words, if the specific date on the bs is 31 Jan 71, for instance, I'm curious of the blue door label gets printed then and travels down the line with the bs until it's stuck on the door at a later point, or perhaps at some point in Feb. Only mention because we may be mixing apples and oranges by using build sheets and blue stickers. Probably a good question for Keith!

Re: The build date project

It's like you're reading my mind!! Ha. But that is actually a great data point - this truck's blue sticker is 5/71 (with a build date of 5/28/71) - so maybe it doesn't matter or perhaps the blue sticker is indeed printed at the same time as the bs.

Btw, the data for that build sheet is already in the chart, it was the very first one I entered in the other thread and is present in post 2 of this one.

Totally coincidental timing!

You meant to say 6/71 for the blue sticker. Edit: my bad - 5/71 it is.

And dang, I checked post 1, but not post 2. Oops.

Nope, it's actually 5/71 - hard to read in the pic that was in the thread you shared, here's a better one -

Re: The build date project

Ok guys, I’ve got all but 8 of those added today and got another list by pm that I’ll try and get too tomorrow. 1 big thing that will help we are finding is if you can post the MAKE of the truck as well. For the plants/years we have info entered it’s easy to see the difference in the sequence number format in the same year and plant, Chevy vs. GMC. For the plants/years with no info recorded it’s more difficult to know whether we are messing with a Chevy or a GMC. Thanks guys and we will get them updated soon enough. If you seen any irregularities between the two lists please pm us so we can figure it out.
