GMC Grille Differences
Hi All,
Are GMC grilles all the same from 47-54? Mine is missing and I need a new or used one. Preferably not chrome but chrome would be ok if painted isn't available. Can anyone shed light on this for me? No they are not the same. 47-48 are different and also had additional bracing for them. If I understand correctly 49-55.1 inserts are interchangable.

on a '54 the repops will fit with no modification at all. It is the Grille surround that is VERY hard to find in good shape 54-55 1st have what look like wings under the headlights
All the big guys sell them. You will find you pay more $$$ for all GMC stuff compared to Chevy |
