Steering Column Shifter Handles?

Was There a Difference In How They Mount To The Column?

I Have A Tilt One Out Of a Chevy Van ( At Least That Was What i Was Told ) But It Never Came With a Shifter Handle. Not Sure What Year Handle To Order

Yes, they all mount the same but the tilt handle is different than the non-tilt on the business end.

Re: Steering Column Shifter Handles?

There were a few different shifter bars and end plastic handles across the years and models too in the trucks.
Depending on the year of van your column came from there could be differences there too.
I have a mid 70's van tilt and had a bunch of different shifters. They all fit but there were different lengths and some bent at different places.

Re: Steering Column Shifter Handles?

There are some handle pics among some of the tilt column threads. Hit search and type in tilt columns or tilt column shifters and see what comes up. I apparently didn't save the ones I came across.
