ford starter solenoid/sbc/HEI wiring??

My HEI has the green wire for tach
Red going to plug in the firewall underneath the heater box

When I pulled the wires off of my starter I only had one wire to the battery post and the one wire to the actual ignition spade connector

I've searched the interweb and they're all scattered so can somebody please tell me how I'm supposed to wire this

As I see left or right go to the battery left or right goes to the positive on the starter then the S should be where I hook up the wire that's coming from my ignition?

I mean is that pretty much it that's what it seems like to me even though I have a four prong relay it says the "I" is supposed to go to the coil but I have an HEI so I don't use that correct?

A simple normal manual transmission wiring diagram would be great I don't care if someone draws it by hand

thanx

The FAQ section has a link to this thread that discusses the starter relay's including the Ford relay - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...66#post5504566
