Two Anniversaries This Month

-
Celebrating two anniversaries this month. The wife and I are celebrating our 58th anniversary today and I am celebrating the 62nd anniversary of owning the '36 Ford Coupe that her dad gave me in June of 1960, before we were married. This picture was taken in 1964 just before we were married.

Despite a few ups and downs it's been a good life.....

Happy anniversary! So, her dad gives you a nice 36 and you take 4 years to marry her? Here I always thought the guy was supposed to give the parents a gift for their daughters hand in marriage!

Congrats to you and the Mrs, that's quite an accomplishment!

Nice dowry her father had for you =) The opposite of a shotgun wedding for sure!

It wasn't quite that nice when he gave it to me (pic below) but I was still really happy to get it..

Re: Two Anniversaries This Month

Leon, a hearty Congratulations to you and the Mrs. The pic shows a very nice 36 and a very nice young lady. A well done for you and the Mrs. My wife and I are a few years behind you, just made our 51st also in June of this year. Met on a blind date and as they say "we just clicked". After all these years she also is a keeper who loves cars, trucks, car shows and old time rock and roll. We've also had our ups and downs but it takes commitment to work thru it.

AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS X 2
