New member hoping to make the most of my 1969 CST10

Hi, new member here, my wife and I just bought a 1969 CSt 10, we are looking to upgrade the steering to power steering, and the 6 lug drum brakes to front disk and power brakes. I am hoping there is plenty of experience here to help me not make the wrong choices in buying and what works and not works as well. We do also plan on putting on AC in the future as well.

Thanks for letting me join!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a great truck. In our truck board of your year they should have all the info you require - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/forumdisplay.php?f=3

OMG that girl is perty! That color original paint is gorgeous! Please do not ever paint it. Man I’d love to see this truck in person.

Nice truck love the original paint. There's nothing like driving these trucks and steering a turn with one finger.

Re: New member hoping to make the most of my 1969 CST10

Thanks guys for the replies, can you all point me in the best direction for finding replacement rubber for the tailgate pads, the hood pads on the fenders for the side of the hood, I have the bumper stops for the front, new rubber for the front A arms, the stabilizer arm up front, the rear trail arm, and such? I was hoping to get a set of wing windows complete that are in good shape with good rubber as well, but have not had much luck finding them. TIA!

I like GMCPauls for those types of parts. They seem to sell quality parts and a bit cheaper than other places in my experience. Their site is a pain to navigate.
