Door Window Felt Replacement

I am finally starting this process. I have everything lined up and ready to go except for a few items. Where is the best place to get the new felt for the channel along the vent wing? Also what adhesive is the best to use?? Is there any tricks??

Re: Door Window Felt Replacement

Brothers, Classic Industries, GMC PAul's, LMC - used 'em all and they're all similar; I couldn't say if there's much difference between the quality. Just store up your patience, and don't get frustrated, because to pull the wind wings out, you have to be part Houdini. I have to do mine on my '67 and I'm not looking forward to it.

Re: Door Window Felt Replacement

I just purchased an 8 pcs kit from GMC Pauls.. It was on sale for like $55... This doesn't include the vent window... I was looking for info on the main felt that runs along the top and down the back edge into the door and the front felt that runs down the back of the vent window... How does this get secured into place? I have some black silicone caulking that I thought I would use... Any info would be appreciated... There is a car show this weekend and I would like to fix the windows before I go... (trying to get it ready to sell)
