Re: Hey Tim!

Weather has been great this week. Yeah, a little light rain but not too warm and not too cool. The birds are singing their happy song. It sure feels like Spring. the daffodils are in full bloom as of yesterday. I never saw any crocus. Time to take a look around the place and tidy up.

Re: Hey Tim!

It mud season here . Snow melt and rain makes the top layer slick as you know what . Once the ground completely thaws it will get better

It just got all dried out here, then it rains all day yesterday. Not a hard rain just a steady light rain. Just enough to get everything nice and soggy again.

Oh well, I have plenty of inside work to do...

Re: Hey Tim!

Last few weeks have been crazy. Gone from frozen ground to warm with rain and muddy . Now it’s freaking snowing with a possible 3 inches in the higher altitudes of the Catskills right where I am .

Re: Hey Tim!

Spring snow. You guys have seen it often this season. Actually it's 'these seasons', since now it is spring. Did you get any snowfall prior to the first day of winter?

Mid-50s, off and on sun, clouds, showers a couple days here. Looks like rain chances all week.

Last week we had a few cold days and nights. 20s at night, one night was teens. Hi around 40 those days, and windy all the way through.

Here is our forecast for the next week. If it isn't raining, It's windy. I live on top of a hill so nothing to block the wind.

This Afternoon

Southeast wind 9 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight
Rain and thunderstorms likely before 1am, then a slight chance of rain between 1am and 2am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Southeast wind 8 to 13 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Monday
Partly sunny, with a high near 51. North northwest wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Monday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming east southeast after midnight.

Tuesday
A 50 percent chance of rain, mainly after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. South southeast wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night
Rain likely before 1am, then a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms between 1am and 4am, then a slight chance of rain after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday
A 30 percent chance of rain after 1pm. Sunny, with a high near 57. Windy.

Wednesday Night
A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Windy.

Thursday
A 50 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Windy.

Thursday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Windy.

Friday
Partly sunny, with a high near 46. Windy.

Friday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 28.

Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 54.

Bah, Humbug! Not a lot of rain but just enough to keep everything soggy, plus all dreary days except for a couple.
