Isn't that just irritating as all be darn? I don't have a problem putting things back where I found them. Those around me, not so much.

Yep, a thing I used to go round and round with. I found these ways to get around it because obviously people weren't changing their ways to make me any happier... or themselves!! Unless they needed something after I used it, it was the same frustration for them. I don't know how many times I'd say, "I only paint myself into a corner once". I mentioned silver lining earlier. The silver lining in that case is now you know what not to do and you figure out what to do to make it not happen again. I call it learning!

Pens are the worst too.

First of all. You can't find one when you're on the phone and need to write something down. I have a place where I keep mine... I'm looking at it right now. No pens there.

The other things with pens is that if you actually can find one. IT DOESN'T WORK!

I cant tell you how many times I've told someone on the phone to hang on while I get a pen only to have the dang thing not work. But the worst is when I stop and get a second one...And it doesn't work either. That's when I usually say "Can you email me the info?'.

I buy the bags of pens too. That's a temporary fix. They disappear faster than dollar bills at a strip club.

After reading all these tools that come up missing ,,well,,it stuck with me while out in the garage today, {{I found it,}}, you know one of the shiny little objects about the size of a silver dollar.. it has numbers on it that tell you what guage a spark plug is set at .. made to be on a key chain I think ,,What now ? I found it but rarely ever need it ,, I guess the next time around when some one like you Paul post a posting about losing stuff ,, I will be looking for it again.. Are we a crazy bunch or what?.
