Mid 90’s seats. Let’s see them!

I’m looking for pics of anyone who has used the mid 90’s split bench seats in their trucks. I really like the look of the original seats, but this build has nothing to start with. There is someone local that has the late model for sale and said it was in a 71 when he bought it. He just changed to buckets.

I’d like to see what they look like and what your thoughts are.

Re: Mid 90’s seats. Let’s see them!

Sorry, no pic. My friend has some 93ish seats in his 72 k20 and really likes them. Not sure what he did for mounting but they seem to fit in there well. He's a big dude and there is enough room.

There are a couple of seat threads with lots of pics on this forum for you. Use the search button and that should bring up those threads.

The 88-90 seats in particular are nice because they have a thinner back on them. I find the later seats to be a little overstuffed.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I think you want late
'80s-early '90s seats like Andy has. By the mid '90s seats got fatter making these cabs cramped

Re: Mid 90’s seats. Let’s see them!

My 70s I believe came out of a 90. It was recovered when my friend had the truck before me. I love using theses seats. Very comfortable and to me way better than the stock ones.

I love the job they did with them. That is some good work, I have been told these seats are difficult to reupholster.
