Van Seats

Hi everyone. I found these at the junkyard today for 20 bucks and had to have them. This isn't a "what are these" post, they came out of an 86 Chev tradesman style man... my question is one that has probably been asked before, though: are these for all intents and purposes the same as 67-6 buddy seats. That is, if I refoam them and recover them with the proper upholstery, is there any real difference?

I like that they both have sliders on them, and whatever answer I get, I am happy with my purchase and will use them.

Re: Van Seats

They are not the same , The inner frames are different and premade buddy seat covers won't fit on them . Take them to a custom upholstery shop and have custom covers made .

Re: Van Seats

Thanks Grumpy, I was hoping you'd see my post and respond. I will see if my local guy can make them presentable.
