66 GMC Custom - 454 BB, 700R4. Just got the steel wheels powder coated and installed when this pic was taken, those six luggers were not easy to find.

Sorry Baketown but I don't have a build thread of the engine mount, was completed by a previous owner. I can tell you that square tube mounts were used and welded directly to the cross member and the install is pretty dang clean. If you're interested PM me and I'll snap some pics for you if you need em.

Here is a pic of my panels and suburban. My first one is a 63 panel I got in New Mexico, the second is my daily driver a 64 GMC with orginal 305 v6 and granny 4 speed, the last is my 66 sub which I am currently building.

my 66 gmc suburban almost done
I just need to do something with the seats and seat belts are Original Anybody got any ideas what seats work nice in these suburbans.Or I may just get the seats recovered.

Hey there. new to the site. Just picked this up from a good friend of mine. It was originally a Southern Pacific Railroad truck back in 65. My friends family picked it up in 67, and has been a work truck every day of its life. My friends dad just retired on the 18th of December, and I picked it up the day after Christmas. Have big plans to keep it a working truck/tow rig for our race car.

Chassis was replaced with an updated version utilizing C4 Corvette suspension.
Then for good measure a NASCAR spec LS2 engine and new 4L65E and convertor.
Then to top all I relocated to Southern Ontario Canada from Florida.
