How Many Posts Before You Can Use the WTB ?

Hey folks, I been on here awhile and tried to post a WTB in 67-72 Parts forum.
Got a message that said I didn't have that ability??

What's up with that?

Thanks

You have to be a subscribing member to post WTB or for sale ads.

Another way is to mail a check to:

Joshua Brady
PO Box 154
Rockwell, NC 28138

Be sure to write your board name on the check.

It's less than $0.07 a day for a year's subscription.
Where else can you advertise for that

Re: How Many Posts Before You Can Use the WTB ?

I subscribed after a few years of being "pink" member. I never sell anything or post WTBs: it was just that I realized I was getting a lot of free advice and general enjoyment from the site and I wanted to make sure I was supporting it so it would be there when I needed it. I think it is quite a bit of work, and not much of a source of income for the owners. Highly recommend.

Pretty much the same with me, though I won't say "never". Just "almost never" .

I have gotten some incredibly valuable and much appreciated advice here, and a paid membership might help repay that if only just a bit. Worth every penny!

Hey Marylander, welcome to the site. Not that you are freshly joined up. It's part of our anti-scammer policy. Seems to work pretty well. Only subscribing members can start any post at all in the parts section. So that covers what people go there for, except buying which anyone can do. Still have to watch for scammers when you post a WTB, since anyone can respond. The reverse of scamming when selling
