Re: progress pics of 79 pro street
Here is a couple of pics of the top back on the blazer with the seams gone. Now I think I need to shave the factory seams on the metal roof and/or the rain gutters as well. It's never ending!!!!!

1.The tires are 33x19.5x15 (Mickeys) 2.The wheels are Weld racing 15x14 or 15x15 (Not sure they were on the blazer when I got it.) 3.Not sure on the back spacing, I did a rough measurement this morning it looks 5.5 offset. I will be pulling the wheels off soon for paint and I'll give you some exact measurements then if that will help you. Thanks for the compliments guys!!!!!!! |

Re: progress pics of 79 pro street
Any thought of switching wheels/tires out to the BIG 20" Mickey Thompson tires? That would be killer!

Re: progress pics of 79 pro street
Just the kind of modifications I like. I knew it looked good, but couldn't tell what exactly you changed. Had to go back and look at the older pictures to see what it looked like before. Right on.

Re: progress pics of 79 pro street
plus shaving the rain gutters isn't as easy as it sounds. Mine are shaved, and it makes the doors look like they should be flat, but they have a natural roll to them. I would leave them on, especially with the gap for the top there.

Re: progress pics of 79 pro street
Its been a loooooooong time since I have posted anything new. It seems like everytime I have the money saved up to put into the blazer something comes up (Bills, Kids, Wife heck just LIFE in general. So last week I ordered a gallon of HOT ROD FLATZ paint and painted the blazer. I am going to put it back on the road for a little while. Take it to a few local shows and have some fun with it. I still have to paint the top and put the glass back in it.
Here are a few pics after paint. Last edited by Chevyrod; 11-13-2008 at 07:38 PM. |
