Model A 4 pot flat heads

Anyone know of good forum for these engines?

My dad's wants to go dry lakes racing before he passes. Were talking El Mirage, and if he likes it. He wants to do Bonneville as a bucket list item. He would be happy with 100mph. I need more like 140 maybe 150. From my limited knowledge is the same basic riles apply, and that is the cut-off roughly of the next step in construction. Research will start before plans are put to credit card.

I want to use the Model A 4 banger, and dual carbs on a tunnel ram. Or a big single on a tunnel ram. He doesn't care about the engine so much as long as it's not modern, but that is not a hard rule for him.

Out of curiosity has anyone ran E85 in a flat head. Or what is the highest compression ratio I can achieve with a flat head.

The car will be a early 40's style Model A weekend racer. Just built stupid low with adjustability for dual purpose use.
