70 GMC Suburban, New Zealand
Hi all, wonderful site you have here. Always had old GM stuff but my first 67-72 truck. 2wd 307ci/th/Eaton. Would love to know where it came from, exported from U.S in 2011. Was a neon green until I got my greasy hands on it. Cheers, Eric

Thanks guys, has been a reliable and practical truck for me, gets regular use hauling stuff around. There are a fair few 80's-00's Suburbans in the country, and plenty of pick-ups of all vintages, however this is the only 67-72 Suburban i've ever seen! Get asked often why i've welded the "4th door" shut
 is in quite good original condition, little rust. (our cars have to pass a structural/mech exam bianually) original colour was v/close to the green i've repainted it in, luckily they never painted the dash, door jambs etc. Unfortunately I have no idea what the colour is as it is a special (fleet?) colour per the SPID. Thanks again for the welcome and really enjoy seeing all the pics of your trucks and restorations, as well as the wealth of knowledge. Keep em rolling  Eric |
