Re: 1984 C10 parting out*
I think it may be the lines at the bottom of this pic, under the switching valve.

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*
Hi Chuck,
Wondering if you'll part with just the front steering linkage....basically I need the center link, but if it'll be easier to pull the outer/ inner tie rods, pitman arm, I'll do that.....shipping to 28031 or if you're headed to the Charlotte area or Myrtle Beach I could meet a somewhere??...Thanks Geoff

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*
let me see what I can do with getting it out alone...on May 8th, I'm going to Salisbury, NC for the Gathering of the Goofs for this site...I could bring it with me to that if that's not too far in the future for you...
I just checked and you should be less than an hour from Salisbury...you come swing by and come to the Gathering of the Goofs and get some grub too... LOL...just checked the RSVP thread and you're on it...so you'll be there...if for some reason you don't make it, me and my family will be at the camp ground some of the day Sunday also before we head back home... Re: 1984 C10 parting out*
if you're talking about the switch valve for the dual tanks, then 87bob had first dibs on it...He's supposed to be paying me this weekend for it, if he backs out, then it's yours for $15 plus shipping...he's been pretty intent on getting it, so I'm pretty sure he's going to be buying it...

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*
ok so I took some more pics of stuff off this truck...it was getting dark, so I had to lighten up some of the pics...as you can see the cab is in excellent shape, no rust at all, just alittle surface rust from where I think the heater core leaked at one time in the pass floor board...I will meet with you up two hours away to deliver this...the cab is stripped and ready to be transferred to my trailer...on to the pics...

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*
Can you get a few close up shots of the gauge bezel? I would like everything but the headlight harness. I already have one.

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*
I'll get one up tonight when I get home from work...
the upper door panels don't have the strips behind the straps or the straps, they do still have the armrests and pockets that are both in good shape...also, if I remember correctly, the window felt at the top is also in good shape...I'll get pics of those up also... one of the lower door panel carpet pieces has a hole in it...the chrome strip at the top of the lower panel and the vents in each one are in excellent shape...I can take them off and ship them seperate so it'll be cheaper if you'd like or you can have them whole...or you could pick these up in May also...I'll get pics of them up tonight...thanks man |
