Yes we buy them direct from CPP. There are upgrade options if you want a full billet CNC machined M/C.....but it's going under the floor, so, that's kinda pointless.

you got the mc and boosters in stock? some people here have had bad experiences with cpp (customer service). How long to get these done once we get to the magic number 5.

How long are you extending this i.e. when do you need payment to be in the group buy. I'm 90% committed but need to sell a few more parts first.

Yes, I stock all the items we sell if we don't manufacture it. I would guess off the top of my head that there are about 30 M/C's in stock ready to go. The pedal assembly's should be in stick, but I'll need to check. If they are not, it takes less than a week to get them out.

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

These pictures should help a bit.

You can see that the entire assembly can be moved up about 1-1/2" before it hits the bottom the floor. That would take the bottom of the booster just at frame level. However, understand that the front crossmember, and the rear mid crossmember (where the drvieshaft intersects with the trailing arms), both sit lower that the current position of the booster.

VA72C10-I guess it'll be extended until we reach the amount we need. But don't worry, I'll work out a way to fit you in

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

Another question. Do you have a matching set of pedals that will work with this or a way to attach something to utilize the factory pads?

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

You know, I've never used a set of factory pads. I guess there should be no issue with hooking up a factory pad, I just need to look at it and see how it attaches now.

A lot of us here have either modified or aftermarket front and rear crossmembers, so the booster position is a concern. Do you think the pedal shaft would need to be shortened if we move the whole assembly up as far as it can go?

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

Actually I stuck my head under an installed one this afternoon, and the consensus is that it can move up with zero ill effects. If you look at the pictures you can see that the bracket bolts to your frame, and the assembly bolts to the bracket. You can simply unbolt the bracket and bolt it to the frame, then relocate the mounting holes (drill 4 of them). You should be able to move the entire assembly up about 1-1/2" and still fill the reservoir with a baster or brake bleed pump.

The only thing that may need to be modified is the pinch weld where the kicker and firewall meet. It'll probably just need to be trimmed a bit.

I appreciate you looking into this. I have a set of the deluxe pads w/ the stainless trim I planned on using. But will sell those and utilize other pedals if you can get matching ones for the gas and E-brake. Thanks!

It would be worth looking into for sure. I like the idea of the 'hidden' mounting but would want the pedals to look 'factory'. Let us know . . ....

I'll look into the options. I agree, a set of matching pedals is a must.

The one in the picture ended up with a new kick panel and firewall, so it was not necessary to make the hole small. In most case the hole is going to be clearanced a lot tighter and you can fashion a rubber gasket of sorts.

Anyone thought about Hydroboost on this bracket? That may solve the hanging below the 'rails issue...

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

Very nice looking part. I do have a question for you, it looks like the pedal is now in the same location as the gas pedal. Can you get a measurement off the drivers side kick panel to the CL of the pedal? Also on your weld in kit is everything welded to a flat plate or is it truly a "Weld up kit", could you include a pic of what the weld in kit looks like as shipped? Thank you very much for your time on this product.
