Oooops... bought a square blazer...

I don't usually play with the square bodies much, but this one needed a home. Winter is knocking on the door here so i just tucked it in the yard until spring when i can determine what to do with it. Pretty clean and runs and drives. Alot of money was spent underneath including 3/4 ton axles, rear disc brakes, crossover steering, greaseable shackles and more.

The things i do... Just glad i don't have a problem. Enjoy.

Even the ugly ones need a home...

Just kidding. I bet you'll have fun with it.

Your username says it all but what a great addition. Nice to know it can be enjoyed immediately with all kinds of potential, and I am digging that front bumper.

You have to veer off the normal path once in a while you know.....

Looks like a good start on a nice driver.

All modern up to a 1986! Just need to figure out what "unleaded fuel only" means on the gauge?

Nice blazer. That generation tow hook is a lot more affordable.

That's the stuff they used to sell before ethanol. Last year carburetor!

Re: Oooops... bought a square blazer...

I find my 85 is much more refined ride . When it comes to taking a long road trip I tend to gravitate to it over the others . I think you’ll enjoy it

Re: Oooops... bought a square blazer...

I grew up with my Mom driving a beige 1987 K5 blazer(Dad drove a 1964 C10). I still remember the day my parents bought it used at a dealership. I could stand up straight between the front seats when they got it, and I could barely open the door from the outside, but as I got a bit older I could open the door myself haha I have many good memories with that k5.

After my mom got a new car in the early 2000's the K5 sat in the back 40 for a few years before it was sold for $500 Doh!
It wasn't even in bad shape, mostly just needed a fuel pump IIRC.

A little work, here and there, and that'll be a sharp rig. I hope he tells us about it over on the square side.
