Re: A real BadSeed

UPDATE!!!:

I removed the springs from my bench seat to clear the way for my Snowden Foam Kit.

Other than that, I've done some tinkering. I had to do some work to my minitruck. It'll be headed to Texas for Lone Star Throwdown in February to show off at the big one and celebrate my truck club's 25th anniversary. Xtreme Lowz

Re: A real BadSeed

I made some custom bed braces. I had my buddy Dan at DotLow Rides in Texas water jet the sides and I did the rest. I'm happy with how they turned out. They aren't bolted in here in the pics. The fronts were moved back a few inches.

Dude this truck is insane. It's one thing to have killer ideas but not many have the talent to make them a reality, great job on both engineering and execution.
Also genius idea on the sheet metal break with the hydraulic press, I may need to borrow that one. I'm subscribed till the end on this one

Really nice build, excellent craftsmanship all around. What software do you use to draw up the parts your buddy water jets out for you?

Thank you. I scribble them down on a piece of paper with measurements, and he does the rest. Not sure what programs he uses

Re: A real BadSeed

I started mounting my AirLift 3H sensors. The rear sensors mount to the side of the frame with some tapped holes. On the lower Link bar I mounted a tab with a 1/8" hole.

I designed and had cut the front sensor mounts and some custom sensor covers. Waiting for them to show up so I can get the fronts mounted too

I also got the access doors mounted. I welded them in, but not in this pic. These are in the frame right behind the cab. How do I flip images?

Any update on the seat foam kit? Will it sit lower? Custom interior or ???
Been awhile since I peeked in last. Takes time to recover when you blow my mind.

Re: A real BadSeed

***P.S., you'll need a bucket of fresh water to submerge the parts in after the acid bath. That will neutralize the acid. It will also cause premature rusting, so blow off the water with a high pressure hose.

The seat foam kit will sit lower, and includes side and middle bolsters. Kind of like the one in the picture here. This is Chris Snowden's Seat Foam kit, on his frame, covered by his guys. I'm using my frame and upholstery guys.

Re: A real BadSeed

I finished up the battery strap with a barrel hinge on the corner to make it more easily removable. This side is done. On to the driver's side

Battery tray set-up turned out very nice. I'm wondering about their placement though. Seems they're installed in the same real estate the front bed panel will need to occupy?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
