The wife and I were married 49 years ago yesterday. Been a pretty good run.

Congratulations Boog! That is a long run you're on. Me and my bride from your neighboring town Beebe are going on 44 ourselves.

Re: long term

Boog, congratulations on your anniversary. Well done, well done. Mrs. Ironhorse and I will be 53 years this coming June. Not too bad I guess for meeting on a "blind date" , LOL. Three great boys, three G'kids with one in the oven, two acres, house is paid off, 30 x 50 "playhouse" for my '57 Chevy. '71 Chevelle and the '71 4x4. Wife loves the "toys", cruising and car shows. STILL a KEEPER after all these years and she still puts up with me, LOL.

Again, WELL DONE Mr. & Mrs. Boog!

Re: long term

Congrats.
I had not found a woman who would put up with my crap until 2006. And I did everything in my power to run her off.
She is a pain in the backside to this day, but anyone who would put up with my crap as long as she has, deserves to be a miserable as I am. Just kidding.

And I hope you and yours are together for many more years.

Re: long term

Thanks fellas. I've told her numerous times we simply were meant to be together. We were neighbors a brief time before we were even school age then she moved away, only to return and actually move into the house across the street from me when we were in high school. Just meant to be. Some day I'll tell her she can stay.

Re: long term

Congratulations Boog.. My wife and I are at 57 and counting. We met in 1962 when she was a 14 year old JV cheerleader and I was a freshman in college. Her Dad wouldn't let me anywhere near her. How she puts up with my crap is a mystery of the universe..

Re: long term

You have a good run going too.
We dated 4 years before marrying so that puts us at 53 years, to date. Never fought or split. I am a fortunate man. I wish the same for everyone.

Re: long term

Congrats.
Met my babe in high school. 11th grade.
It's been 45 years in August.
She has put up with my car projects over the years.
Oh and she's still as good looking as she was in 1974.
