Bought new Honda VTX 1300..................
Hey all. Yesterday i bought myself a 2005 Honda VTX 1300Retro. Been looking at bikes for about............. 10 years.
Kids were younger then. Couldnt justify the expense. Now i didnt have a reason not to buy one. Brand new off the floor, no miles. And i get a discount because i work for Honda too. Was a COLD ride home yesterday. 19 miles one way. That was a little tough. But this is the first NEW vehicle i have ever bought. Anyone else got one?

Nice bike Mike. Let me know how it feels after you put some miles on it, I've been tossing around the idea of picking up a VTX myself.

Re: Bought new Honda VTX 1300..................
Guys, it rides so smooth and has GOBS of power. I always wanted a Harley-Davidson. But just couldnt justify paying 3 or 4 grand more for one than i did for this. And not get as nice a bike.
Very ballsy torque. Sounds great too. Noticable rumble taking off. But not noisy down the road. Just what i wanted.

Re: Bought new Honda VTX 1300..................
Good friend of mine has a 1300C and he seems to love it. Its one of the best looking off the floor bikes IMO I am sure you have already found vtxoa.com right? lol If I ever get a house built I will most likely be in the VTX market myself.

I don't have a vtx but I have a intruder 1400 the wife and I try to get away on it as much as possible. I don't need a back rest when she is back there...
