Quality of CPP notches?

Well, I've been making some progress on getting my notches installed and shocks relocated the past couple days, and i was taking a look at the CPP notches. They are nice and thick, come with super hardware, the welds are really clean and look good, but I was wondering why they weren't welded on the inside as well? Only along the outside....seems like it would create a weak spot to me....anyways, opinions?

Re: Quality of CPP notches?

I'm taking a guess here, but maybe welds on the inside would prevent the notch from sitting flush on your frame??

Re: Quality of CPP notches?

Looking at mine, the welds show good penetration, so an inside weld would be a little overkill. It might also affect the fit, but for what it is, I think the outside is enough.
