I knew it was coming.... Just never saw a price

I knew they were reproducing our 55-59 cabs but never found a price. Even on Ebay now.

if they are as nice as the AD body it might be worthg the price if you need a "WHOLE" bunch of body work done! I've seen the AD up close and wish I could afford it

I bought a 55 2nd swb big back window with title last week for $90, hell I can buy 100 trucks for what they want for a cab.

I believe that is the same price as the A/D truck cab .... Not surprised. Also .... glad to see someone is keeping these vehicles alive.

The only down side is you won't know if it is a real truck or an impostor! As it is a good idea, just think of all those nice trucks at the car shows. Just knowing that they went through a lot of work to make that truck pretty. Now there will be trucks at shows that look nice that take no work, just people with money.

IMO: I like to see vehicles that I know someone worked their ass off on, not the people with all the reproduction parts.
Kind of like comparing a 32 Ford steel car to a fiberglass kit car, sure it takes a lot of work but I still respect the guy with the steel car more because he brought it back from the grave and worked and worked.

Ahhhhhhh ..... but not all are as lucky to Not live in the rust belts of America, the UK & other rusty countries.

I dig what your saying but this does serve a purpose .... for some.

I too am lucky ..... I bought my '46 from the non salty area in Kansas. I could not find one here locally that wasn't all eaten up with rust out. Although Georgia doesn't see must salt we do see rain & plenty of moisture.

Just my opinion.

That is pricey, but worth it for some I supose.

As said above yes steel is real as they say, but if they didnt make aftermarked bodies and frames the hobby would die...

I'd like to see the five window model ...

Truck cab is available in your choice of 3 or 5 window.

GMC made it a 5 window on some of there 2 tons and bigger. Same hole as the big glass with deviders in it. Would be hard to find the side glasses.

They do that for the AD trucks, not the 55-59's

I always thought one of those 5 window cabs would be cool to restore. Pain in the butt to find though and like you say, the corner glass would be a pain to find anywhere, never seen them for sale.
