Hydroboost Gurus...please step inside.

I have a home brew hydroboost setup on my '72 K/5...and it "works" except it HISSES very loudly while the brakes are applied. Also, while on the brakes, if I turn the steering wheel, the hiss goes away and the brakes "grab" all of a sudden.

1) What is the hiss? Where is it coming from?

2) Why do the brakes work better when the steering wheel is turned?

Thanks guys,
Jeff

Soapy water and a friend to find that leak. And it may cure your other problem.
