WTB a crappy/incomplete under hood harness...

All I'm needing are the two fused wires for the voltage gauge and the temp sender wire - if you have a ratty harness that includes those pieces let me know.

Thanks!

I think I still have my old harness. I'll look in the garage tonight and let you know tomorrow. It's complete but ratty like you are looking for.

I have at least 5 or 6 of them, 20 bucks plush shipping for the whole harness.

Exclamation Re: WTB a crappy/incomplete under hood harness...

Well I checked out all my less than desirable harnesses and all I have is the harness with the two fuses for the volt gauge. The temp sender wires have all been toasted cutup or missing.

My suggestion is to just build yourself a new temp sender gauge wire. I have a friend who gets all the connectors new through a hardware electrical supplier of his. I have done that several times. So find a auto shop or upholstery shop that also does electrical repairs and they should be able to get you the connectors.

Now the fused wires all look to be fairly good, some scuffing of the plastic coating and it is showing some exposed wires on the small section that goes from the junction block by the battery and plugs into the first fuse holder above the battery.

I have to get batteries for my camera so I can get a picture for you.

Re: WTB a crappy/incomplete under hood harness...

How about this deal just to save me from two trips to the post office.

I have it boxed up and it is slightly smaller than the medium "if it fits it ships" box.

USPS list it as $12.35 and my experience is it is cheaper by a few bucks in a regular box.

I'll do it for $30.00 total

If you can get me paid by paypal by early AM tomorrow it will be on its way.

I PM you with payment info.

Thanks
Brian

Brain-

Honestly, since we're now talking about a harness without the temp sender your price seems a bit steep - if I'm going to make the temp sender wire then I may as well make the two fused wires also. Thanks for your time.

Re: WTB a crappy/incomplete under hood harness...

Got the pictures - my old eyes are having trouble with them though.

In the pic with the temp sender wire I can see the wire but it doesn't appear to have the connector on the end of it.

In the other pic I can't make out the two fused wires that go into the firewall connector at the two spots above the 12 gauge red wire on the right of the connector (looking at it from the engine side).
