new member from san francisco bay area

i have a 1989 gmc in stock configuration and would like to drop it 4 inches, front and rear. i will post this in the proper forum.
as an intro, i am over 60. back in 1992 i built a 56 with a 500 ci caddy power unit. built a few cars along the way and been a longtime friend of hp1957.
